Vocab- begin week 27 words- add preclude to notes- test is Friday over weeks 25-27, Quizlet link is in Classroom to begin studying
Continue to work on constructed response answers- read article together, write one together, write the other 2 independently and turn in, evaluate student responses from previous years (see Classroom if needed)

Comma practice- go over rule 1- commas in a compound sentences and do practice sheets in class

Comma practice- go over rule 2- commas in complex sentences and do practice sheets in class; IXL 8th grade NN2 or 9th grade HH3 to 80 due by Friday
Begin Molasses Performance task- highlight directions and watch source 4 video as a class (see Classroom if needed)

Vocab- Play Kahoot to review for the vocab test tomorrow over weeks 25-27 (see Classroom for the Quizlet link if needed)
Comma rule #3- add a comma after an introductory phrase- do practice sheets in class IXL assigned yesterday is due tomorrow
Performance Task- make 4 square organizer and collect one piece of evidence from Source 4 (the video); model how to cite a video source for the class; students independently find 2 more pieces of evidence from the video

Library Day- book exchange and 1st chapter Friday selection- Speak
Vocab- take the test over weeks 25-27
Performance task- go over evidence collected yesterday independently from the video
