SSR and status or fluency small group; turn and talk question about the conflict in your SSR book; watch the Warriors Read Video
Vocab- begin week 26 words- add beguile to notes
Essay- finish Friday's thesis statement practice and add your thesis to the 4-square organizer- turn in during class
Read and highlight evidence in the "Should School Start Later?" article (see Classroom if needed)

Vocab- add intermittent to notes
Essay- finish Should School Start Later? passages- read and highlight yes/no evidence in source #2, read source #3 and highlight evidence on your own; make yes/no T-Chart and compile reasons; choose 3 reasons and write own thesis; write a thesis as a class and write the R and A statements in the 4 square organizer on your own for homework (get articles and 4 square from me when you return to school if absent)

Vocab- add veracity to notes
Essay- finish the 4- square organizer by adding our evidence/citations (C); begin typing the essay in a Google Doc- tomorrow you will turn in the essay, the organizer and Source 3 with highlights

SSR and status and fluency small groups in 1/2 and 4/5; turn and talk question over SSR book about genre and recommendations
Vocab- review week 26 words
Finish typing essay and turn in through Classroom- due tomorrow; do a peer conference(see Classroom if needed) with someone to give you feedback- this will be collected tomorrow along with the 4 square organizer and Source 3 with highlights
Friday
SSR and 1st chapter Friday selection- Monday's not Coming
Go over the homeroom constructed response practice- highlight parts, analyze what's missing and what is done well, discuss how to get the most points and do the best we can on these types of questions
